DIY springy wreath

Now that the weather has finally started warming up, I feel the need to clean and brighten up our spaces… and what better way than a new wreath??

Michael’s is having a GREAT floral sale right now… so I encourage you to take advantage ASAP. They also have a coupon for 50% off a regular priced item this week, which I used for the baby’s breath/twiggy stuff that wasn’t on sale.

All in all, this project cost $11.34 after tax! Talk about a deal.

I like to place the larger items first and work the smaller flowers around them, so I placed the twiggy stuff before cutting the hydrangeas.

Finally, I added in the pink roses for accents of color.

And hot glued everything into place for added stability.

Please excuse the nasty-ness on the top of my glue gun. Too much burlap isn’t always a good thing, I guess.
Admire your finished work!

Then hang it so everyone else can admire it, too!;)

P.S. Don’t forget about my “Organize you spaces Challenge”… your next post is due this coming Wednesday! So clear out your Saturday to get your organizing on. 🙂
